It was Halloween of 2003. Little Tini (Justine Ava, to you who don't know the family) was participating in her first Trick or Treating. It was a cold night and putting her in her warm jammies sufficed for a costume -- with angel wings attached, of course, to make it look like something different from an everynight appearance. She and her older sister, Olivia, were prepared to hit the neighborhood with Mom and Dad.Tini is a sweet little thing with a sweet little face - always curious and always fairly demanding. And a very, very funny child.
Of course she didn't know what to expect, but the learning curve comes very quickly when it comes to candy. Through the years she has chosen her own costumes and trick or treated with the rest of the big kids. But it is now 2008 and she is no longer the sweet little pink angel crawling up the stairs. The picture below, while not showing her Halloween costume, will give you an idea of her size, her shape and her interests. She certainly doesn't let any grass grow under her feet. She can kick a ball with the best of them. She is a consummate kindergartener now!
They do grow up fast, don't they?
